Psalm 37.40
"And the LORD shall help them and deliver them; deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in Him"
Dear Friend in Christ, Word of God declares total deliverance, salvation and help from the LORD. Very comforting Words! At times we believe in this promise, claim and when we don't get results, get frustrated, start doubting the Promise and Promise Giver!! Friend, this promise is only for those who trust in the LORD.
It's easy to say that, "I trust in the LORD when things go well but difficult to trust when things are not favorable. LORD wants us to trust Him, in every situation, with all our heart. Prov3.5,6 "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths" When we trust the LORD, our focus should be only on Him and His Word, not on situations around us. Trusting the LORD means, not trusting our strength and wisdom, which is limited, but acknowledging the LORD in all our ways. This is possible only when you know the LORD, and love Him. You won't trust a stranger, you also won't trust a person whom you don't love, you won't trust a person whom you don't know well.
This is the problem with us....we say..."I trust in the LORD", but the question is do I trust with all my heart????? Today make a conscious decision to know the LORD by reading and meditating the Word; and once you know Him, His power, His nature, His love and concern for you,... surely you will start loving Him.
Dear Friend, as you trust in the LORD with all your heart,.... you will experience His supernatural intervention and help in every area of your life, you will enjoy His deliverance, healing, and salvation every moment of your life. As you take a decision to trust the LORD, Satan also will be active, he will use his weapon deception, by instigating you to speak against the Word, or make you agree with the statements of your "so-called well-wishers" who will magnify the situations. Look at shepherd boy David, how he faced Goliath. King Saul, all brothers of David, spoke about Goliath, the situation, but David went on confessing victory with the help of his LORD expressing his trust in the LORD; and the Faithful One gave him victory supernaturally. You are superior to David for you are the redeemed one, son of God in Christ, a joint heir of God with Christ.....be confident LORD will move mountains for you when you trust Him.
ENJOY VICTORY AS YOU TRUST IN THE LORD AND REJOICE IN THE GOODNESS OF THE LORD.
