Psalm 23.1
"The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want."
Dear Friend, as you are in the middle of the month, you may be feeling you lack in some areas of your life; wondering about your future. Look at the confession of King David, most popular, wealthy, successful king of Israel. Can you say that The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not lack? If not make a conscious decision now to make Him your Shepherd and to be His sheep, and enjoy the fullness of life without lack in future, confidently hope for supernatural in the days to come.
How to be the sheep of the Lord? Jesus beautifully explains in Jn10.26-27.
Believe in Jesus
Hear His voice
Follow Him
Is it possible? Yes and No. Yes if you can surrender your self, No if you hold on to your self! Wise thing is to surrender your self and be a sheep of Jesus. Believing Jesus means, believing who Jesus is, what He has done for you and who you are in Christ. This you will know if you meditate on gospels and epistles. Secondly, Jesus says, "My sheep hear My voice", that means He speaks and you can hear. How He speaks? He speaks to us through His Word. In every situation, every moment, He speaks to us. Jn16.14, "Holy Spirit will glorify Me, for He will take what is Mine and declare it to you." The Holy Spirit who is in you (Jn14.16), will prompt you time to time; be sensitive to His voice; whatever He speaks to you through the scriptures. Thirdly to be His sheep, we should follow Him. Know how Jesus lived, how He acted in faith, how He spoke. Same way you should live your life. By living Christ like life, you will follow Him. Coll 3.3, "For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God." Believe this TRUTH. As you believe in Christ, hear His voice and follow Him, you will be the sheep of Christ, the Shepherd.
Scriptures says, Jn 10.27, "I know them." The One who created heaven and earth, One who has all power and authority in heaven and earth, knows you! Amazing! He knows your situation, He knows your needs, He knows your problems,.....and as He is your Shepherd, He Himself will deal with your issues and will meet all your needs, save you, protect you and prosper you. Jn10.28, "I give them eternal life and they shall not perish" Wow! Marvelous! Believe the Word, refuse to perish in any area of your life; confess and declare you have fullness of life in every area of your life. Jn10.28,29, " No one can snatch them from My hand and My Father's hand " What an amazing Shepherd we have! You are fully protected and you are secure in the hands of Father and Son. None can harm you. With all these, will you have any lack? Your Shepherd loves and cares for you and therefore you can boldly say, "Jesus is my Shepherd and I shall lack nothing, I am blessed, I am prosperous, i am a success, I have perfect health and sound mind, I will enjoy the goodness of the Lord always, no harm will come upon me, I am well protected by my Father and my Lord Jesus Christ; therefore I know I will not perish, I will have no lack, I will never be put into disgrace and shame; I will live into my Father and bring glory to His name."
Beauty is Jn10.29, "My Father, who has given them to me." Get excited, you are hand picked by Almighty God, your Heavenly Father and He has given you into the hands of His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to shepherd you. Confirmation that Father loves you with His everlasting love. Let this TRUTH sink into your system, treasured in your heart; and look for supernaturals in every area of your life now on.
JESUS CHRIST IS YOUR SHEPHERD; YOU SHALL LACK NOTHING.๐๐
