Ephesians 5.1
"Therefore be imitators of God as dear children"
Dear Friend in Christ, we see familiar scene of believers imitating Men of God, but the Scriptures command us "to be imitators of God as dear children" What a privilege! Imitating means not acting but leading a lifestyle through which reflecting the nature of God. Why imitate God? You are saved by confessing that Jesus is the Son of God. Word of God says in 1Jn4.15, "Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God." Through salvation, you abide in God and God abides in you!!!! See...not God abiding with you. When God is abiding in you, your nature shall be like God. You will think like God, speak like God, walk like God, do like God and live like God. You have a faith of God in you. Jesus while praying to Father, says, "As You, Father, are in Me, and I in You, that they also may be one in Us"(Jn17.21) further He says, "that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them" (Jn17.26) Jn17.22, "The glory which You gave Me I have given them" Friend, pause for a while and meditate on these Words of Jesus, know what you have, and who you have in Jesus. Jesus says as Father was with Him and He with the Father, the same relationship is between you and Father.... Father in you and you in Father. The same love of the Father with which Father loved Jesus is in you. Father's glory which Jesus has received, He has given that same glory of the Father to you. Believe the Word. God abides in you, you abide in God; God's love is in you; you have the glory of God. Be conscious of this TRUTH. Our behavior, style changes depending upon the type of costume we wear; we differ in our style when we are in our homes and offices. Why? Consciousness. You are conscious that you are wearing three piece suite, looks change! behavior change!; you are conscious that you are in the office, you will be official, look responsible; maintain decorum, because of your consciousness of what you are wearing and where you are. Now, be conscious of, God abiding in you, you abide in God, you are filled with the love of God, you are the carrier of the glory of God...... Surely and surely, you shall be an imitator of God. People will see, experience, witness God kinded nature, culture, power, authority in you. You will be joyful under all situations; confident and bold always; loving and caring for everyone. Thereby you will be a powerful witness of God, leading glorious life. As an imitator of God, nothing shall be impossible for you. You will have the burden of the LORD in you, which will drive you with the love of God to reach out to the lost, and to disciple the saved. Your only desire will be to live unto the Father. Your Father will rejoice over you, then "will meet all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus."(Phil4.19)
REJOICE IN THE LORD ALWAYS. AGAIN I WILL SAY, REJOICE 🔥
