Daily Faith 29th April 2019

Psalm 44:3
"For they did not gain possession of the land by their own sword, nor did their own arm save them; but it was Your right hand, Your arm, and the light of Your countenance because You favored them."

Meditation
Do you need God's strength to conquer something in your life today? Maybe you need strength to forgive or to overcome an addiction. Maybe you need strength to deal with a difficult person. No matter what you may be facing, God desires to give you His supernatural strength in every situation. It's interesting that one translation of this verse says, "because God smiled upon them and favored them." Did you know that simply calling on God causes Him to smile on you? Because you are His child, you have His favor! God loves to show Himself strong on your behalf. Be strong in the Lord knowing that He is with you, smiling upon you, and showering you with His favor. As you meditate on this promise, you will be strengthened to overcome every obstacle, and you will live a life of victory! Amen.

Scripture of the Day
14 May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. - Galatians 6:14

Daily Faith 27th April 2019

Psalm 118:24
"This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it."

Meditation
Every day that we are given is a precious gift from Almighty God. We should wake up every morning with a grateful attitude, full of faith and expectancy for what the Lord has in store. Sure, you may be facing some challenges in your life, or maybe things aren't going the way you planned. But remember, each new day is a chance to stand strong in the midst of adversity and see the faithfulness of God. Every new day is an opportunity to praise and thank Him, to magnify your God instead of magnifying your problems. This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it! Be glad that God has promised to never leave you or forsake you. Be glad that God has given you a sound, healthy mind. Rejoice that He is making a way where there seems to be no way! Focus on the gift of each and every day and rejoice in what God has done in your life! Amen.

Scripture of the Day
16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. - Matthew 5:16

Daily Faith 26th April 2019

Philippians 1:6
"And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns."

Meditation
At that moment when Jesus spoke the words on the cross, “It is finished,” it certainly looked like the end. It looked as though it was over. But maybe that wasn’t just a statement of fact; it was a statement of faith. He was saying to His Father, “I’ve done My part. I’ve fulfilled My destiny. Now, I have total trust and confidence that You are going to finish what You started through Me.” Even though it looked like the end, in reality, it was only the beginning. When it looks dark in your life, when things aren’t going your way, dare to make that declaration of faith just like Jesus, “It is finished.” What you’re really saying is, “God, I know You are going to finish what You’ve begun in my life. You are going to turn things around. I know that You are giving me the breaks that I need. Let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven!” Always remember to speak victory over your circumstances because He is faithful, and He will complete what He’s started in you. Amen!

Scripture of the day

Daily Faith 25th April 2019

Proverbs 20:3 AMPC
"It is an honor for a man to cease from strife…"
Meditation
If we realized the destructive force that strife is, we would be more careful to not allow it into our relationships. It can creep into relationships by starting small, maybe through a comment or a wrong look from someone, and can then escalate into something much bigger. When we let our guard down and say things that are disrespectful, hurtful or demeaning, we’re not just damaging our relationship, we’re inviting the destructive spirit of strife into that relationship. But when you choose to cease from strife and overlook an offense, you are acting honorably and honoring God. How do you avoid strife? The Bible tells us that love covers over many offenses. Love stops strife. It means that you give people the benefit of the doubt. You consider what they may be going through instead of focusing on how they reacted to you. Maybe someone was short with you at the office, but they may have a loved one in the hospital. Instead of getting upset, walk in love—be patient and kind to them. Look for ways to walk in peace with the people in your life and put an end to strife! Amen.

Scptirue of the day
8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." - Acts 1:8

Daily Faith 24th April 2019

Hebrews 10:35
"So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded."

Meditation
Have you been praying and believing for something that seems like it’s taking a lot longer to see the answer than you thought? Many times, people can miss God’s best simply because they give up before they see their “due season” come. Don’t let that be you! Be encouraged today, your answer is closer than you think. If it seems like things are getting more difficult, remember, when the intensity heats up, that means you are closer to your victory. It always seems darkest just before the dawn arrives. You serve a faithful God, and He’s working behind the scenes on your behalf. Don’t cast away your confidence today, because your reward is coming. And just like a new mother forgets about her labor pain when she is finally holding her newborn, you’ll forget about your struggle when you are holding on to your promise. While you are waiting, keep an attitude of faith and expectancy. Wake up every morning and say out loud, “I’ve come too far to give up now. My due season is coming. I will reap my harvest.” Stay in faith and look for His hand of blessing because He has promised you victory, and it’s closer than you think! Amen.

Scripture of the Day
7 You must speak my words to them, whether they listen or fail to listen, for they are rebellious. - Ezekiel 2:7

Daily Faith 23th April 2019

1 Corinthians 15:57
"But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ."
Meditation
Jesus overcame sin and death so that we can have abundant life in Him. Because of Jesus, we can have victory over anything that would try to hold us back!
No matter what bondage, stronghold, sin or addiction has held you captive in the past when you acknowledge Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, you receive His power—His burden-moving, yoke-destroying anointing. Sin can’t hold you back because who the Son sets free, is free indeed! (See John 8:36.) It all starts by believing and receiving this promise. Receive His truth and life and celebrate true, eternal victory! Amen.

Scripture of the Day
12 Now go; I will help you speak and will teach you what to say."

Daily Faith 22th April 2019

1 John 5:4
"For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith."
Meditation
As a child of God, you have the power of faith within you to overcome the world. That includes everything in the world and everything the world brings your way! The Bible says that faith comes by hearing the Word of God (Romans 10:17). As you hear the Word of God and store it in your heart, your faith in God grows stronger. When the enemy tries to attack you through sickness, fear, worry, or financial mishaps, just use your faith by declaring the Word of God. Find scriptures to speak over your problem or whatever you are facing. Declare that perfect love casts out all fear! Declare that God shall supply all your needs! Declare that because you are born of God, you have faith to overcome the world! Amen.

Scripture of the Day
7 But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded." - 2 Chronicles 15:7

Daily Faith 20th April 2019

Daniel 2:21
“He changes times and seasons…”

Meditation
God is always looking to take us to higher levels. He wants us to grow and increase in every area of life. Change is often a catalyst for growth in our lives. It keeps us from getting stuck in a rut. God will supernaturally open and close doors to keep us on the path toward our destiny. He will “stir us” out of comfortable situations and stretch us because He loves us too much to allow us to live in mediocrity. Nothing happens by accident. God is directing your steps. Stay open for change. Remember that God would not allow it if He didn’t have a purpose for it. If you will embrace that change, the winds that you thought would defeat you will actually push you to your divine destiny. Amen!

Scripture of the Day
23 All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty. - Proverbs 14:23

Daily Faith 19th April 2019

Matthew 6:27
"And who of you by worrying can add one hour to [the length of] his life?"

Meditation
God doesn't want you to live worried and anxious about anything. He knows that worry is counterproductive. It steals your peace and joy and affects every area of your life, even your sleep! Have you heard the saying, "Don't worry yourself sick?" Yes, worrying will actually make you physically ill. You won't ever gain anything by worrying, in fact it causes you to lose precious moments that you can never live again. The good news is, God has promised to bring you victory over worry. When you make the choice to put an end to worry, God will give you His peace. Decide today to put an end to worry in your life. Don't feed worry by focusing on bad news all the time, but we should be most informed of the truth of the Word of God. Choose today to feed your faith and fill your heart and mind with God's promises. Declare every day, "My God shall supply all my needs. He makes a way out of no way. He is a Restorer and Redeemer." As you focus on God's Word, you'll drive out worry and fill your heart with faith and expectancy. You'll be filled with hope and joy and move forward into the blessings God has in store for you! Amen.

Scripture of the Day
8 And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. - 2 Corinthians 9:8

Daily Faith 18th April 2019

 Hebrews 6:12
"...imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised."

Meditation
Are you facing a challenge today that seems overwhelming? Through faith and patience, you will see God’s promises come to pass in your life. Understand that the enemy always fights the hardest when he knows you are closest to your breakthrough. He’d leave you alone if he thought you were going to live in mediocrity. If you keep pressing on toward your promise, through faith and patience, you will get there. Don’t be like the Israelites in the Old Testament who were right next to the Promised Land when they talked themselves out of it. They said, “There are giants in the land. It’s too difficult.” No, don’t look at the obstacles in your life today; lift up your eyes because you serve Almighty God. Follow the example of Caleb who kept his focus on God and said, “Moses, we are well able to defeat these people. Let us go up at once and take the land!" Stand in faith and keep believing because God will take you places that you never dreamed. As you press toward the promise, you will see God’s hand of blessing in your life and He will lead you into your promised land! Amen.

Scripture of the day
1 As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, my God. - Psalm 42:1

Daily Faith 17th April 2019

Haggai 2:23
"…I will make you [through the Messiah, your descendant] like a signet ring, for I have chosen you..."

Meditation
We don’t often hear about signet rings anymore, but in Bible times they were very significant. The signet ring was used to identify the message or messenger and the authority they had. In other words, you knew something was from the king because it was marked by his signet ring. It was representative of power and authority. This verse is saying that you are the mark of authority of Almighty God. You have been chosen and set apart to be identified with Him. When you have someone’s power and authority, you have access to everything they have. It’s like having power of attorney; you have the authority to act on behalf of that individual. As a believer in Jesus, marked with His seal, think of all you have access to today. Think about the authority you have. Everything He has is available to you—healing, provision, strength, peace, joy. You have been given authority to “sign His name” in order to receive His blessings. You are God’s seal, and you are marked to live the abundant life He has in store for you! Amen.

Scripture of the Day
6 Praise be to the Lord, for he has heard my cry for mercy. - Psalm 28:6

Daily Faith 16th April 2019

Ezekiel 34:25
“And I will make with them a covenant of peace…”

Meditation
No matter what you may be facing in life, God is with you. You don’t ever have to feel anxious, worried or upset because you have a covenant of peace with Almighty God. That means His peace is always available to you. The Bible tells us that God’s peace passes understanding. That means you can have peace when it doesn’t make sense to have peace. When the rest of the world seems to be upset or fretting, you don’t have to be upset. When gas prices go up, you can be at peace knowing that God has promised to supply all of your needs according to His riches in glory. When the housing market seems unstable, you can trust that God is your refuge, and He will cause you to dwell in safety. He’ll make a way where there seems to be no way. Begin to thank God for His peace and faithfulness in your life. Declare that the peace of God rules in your heart and mind. As you dwell on God’s promises, your heart will be at rest, and you’ll experience the blessing of His peace all the days of your life. Amen!

Scripture of the Day

Daily Faith 14th April 2019

Luke 8:15 NIV
"But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a crop."

Meditation
Sometimes in the natural, we don’t see how God’s promises are going to come to pass in our lives. It seems like there are so many obstacles to overcome. But we have to see God’s Word like a seed. When it’s planted in our hearts, and we water it by thinking the right thoughts and expecting good things, that little seed begins to grow into something much, much greater. Are you in an overwhelming situation today, maybe in your health, finances or relationships? Does God’s promise seem small compared to what you’re facing? Don’t sit back and think, “Man, it’s never going to get any better. It’s never going to change.” Instead, sow the Word by speaking it every single day. Water that seed by staying in faith because the seed of the Word has supernatural power in it. It will grow and flourish, and you will see God’s promises come to pass all the days of your life! Amen.

Scripture of the day
58 Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labour in the Lord is not in vain. - 1 Corinthians 15:58

Daily Faith 13th April 2019

2 Corinthians 9:8
“And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.”

Meditation
We serve a God of abundance! Our God is more than enough! What is it that you have need of today? No matter what is on your “plate” of life, God wants to pour out His grace on you. One of the meanings of grace is God’s good will, loving-kindness and favour. His grace keeps us, strengthens us, and causes us to increase. In fact, He’s already extending that grace to you right now; all you have to do is open your heart and humbly receive it by faith. Humility is an important key to receiving God’s grace. If we are prideful and seeking our own ways, it blocks God from working in our lives. But when we are humble and seeking His ways, He will empower us by His grace. Notice in this verse that when He pours out His grace on you, you will have all that you need at all times…that’s living in abundance! And when you are living in abundance, you are equipped to pour out that goodness and blessing on those around you. He wants to overwhelm you with His goodness so you can walk in the fullness of His blessing! Amen.

Scripture of the Day
12 The LORD will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none. - Deuteronomy 28:12

Daily Faith 12th April 2019

Isaiah 40:29
"He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak."

Meditation
Have you ever felt backed into a corner about a particular situation, and you couldn’t see a way out? We’ve all felt trapped and overwhelmed by the circumstances of life at one time or another. Be encouraged today because the Bible says in Isaiah that when you cry to God for help, as soon as He hears, He will answer you! He will give you strength when you are weary and increase your power when you feel weak. No matter what is going on in your life today, God is greater than any obstacle or difficulty you may be facing. Do you need strength today to overcome a challenge in your life? Do you need power to stand strong in the midst of a storm? Call on Him and He will hear you. The answer is on the way while the words are still on your lips! Open your heart and by faith receive His strength and might, and let Him empower you to live in victory all the days of your life! Amen.

Galatians 6:7-8
"Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life."
Meditation
This is God's world, not your world. This is God's world, whether you want it to be or not. He designed it the way He wanted it. He called it into being. And He rules and reigns over it. You're a part of His world. As a result, you can't escape from it, no matter how much you may want to, no matter how much you may try. You can't pick another world to live in. What are the consequences? Verse for today has the answer. If you live to please God's Spirit, then you will receive a reward, despite any shortcomings you may have. You will receive eternal life. If you live to please your flesh, that is, your sinful self, then you will receive no reward, despite any good you may do. The truth is, however, that God will not be mocked or defied. You will always reap what you sow. Amen!

Daily Faith 10th April 2019

Psalm 66:1 MSG
"All together now—applause for God! Sing songs to the tune of his glory..."

Meditation
There are three simple things you can do each day that will breathe new life into everything you do. First, speak words of faith and victory out loud. As a child of the Most High God, you should have a boldness when you declare, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me! My path is getting brighter and brighter." Next, take time to write down the good things that God does for you each day. When you begin to look for His goodness, you will quickly discover that He is working in your life. Finally, be thankful. Take a moment every day to thank the Lord for all He has done for you. When you develop a thankful heart, you are changing your focus from how big your problems are to how big your God is! Amen.

Scripture of Day

Daily Faith 9th April 2019

2 Corinthians 4:13
"And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, ‘I believed and therefore I spoke,’ we also believe and therefore speak."

Meditation
Every believer has been given a measure of faith. In order to see the promises of God come to pass in your life, you have to give expression to that faith through the words that you speak. That’s why the Scripture tells us, “Let the weak say, ‘I am strong’”—not the opposite, “I am so tired. I am so rundown.” That’s calling in the wrong things. Let the poor say, “I am well off”—not, “I am so in debt.” When you give your faith a voice, when you start speaking the promises of God, the Bible says that He watches over His Word to bring it to pass in your life. The key is that we can’t allow words of defeat or negativity to come out of our mouths. Don’t dig up your seed by speaking against His Word. Instead, water your seed by continuing to declare the Word of God. As you give your faith a voice, you will see God’s promises come to pass. Amen!

Scripture of Day
5 No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you. - Joshua 1:5

Daily Faith 8th April 2019

Proverbs 19;11 AMPC
"Good sense makes a man restrain his anger, and it is his glory to overlook a transgression or an offense."

Meditation
Every day, we have opportunities to get upset, frustrated or offended. Maybe you had plans that didn’t work out, or someone was rude to you at the office. Maybe you were doing something that should have taken one hour and ended up taking three. Life is full of inconveniences. Even though we can’t always control our circumstances, we can control our reaction. They say, “Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you respond.” We should always go out each day with a positive attitude, full of hope and expecting God’s favor. But at the same time, we should recognize that most days are not going to go exactly as we planned. However, we are created to live in peace. Peace is our position of power. If you get stressed because you got off schedule, or frustrated because somebody offended you, you are giving away your power. Instead, use good sense! Make the decision to release those offenses and disappointments so you can live in peace. Overlook offense, release offense and move forward in the power and victory the Lord has for you! Amen.

Daily Faith 6th April 2019

John 3:16 TLB
“For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son so that anyone who believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life”

Meditation
God loves you so much that he sen t Jesus on a mission of love with a message of love. The Bible doesn’t say God has love; it says God is love. Love is his nature; God is love. God created the entire universe. He created this planet; he created the human race. And he created you because he loves you. When Jesus stretched his arms out as wide as the cross, he was saying, “I love you this much! I love you so much it hurts. I love you so much I’ll die for you so that I won’t have to live without you.” God’s love surpasses all human knowledge—and as Ephesians 3:17-19 tells us, it is impossible for any of us to fully grasp the width and length and height and depth of God’s love for each one of us. That’s how much God loves you! Amen!

Scripture of the day

Daily Faith 5th April 2019

Matthew 11:29 "Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Meditation Sometimes the pressures of life can cause unnecessary stress. So many people these days lose sleep worrying about things or people in their lives, but God wants us to live a life of rest and peace. When Jesus walked on this earth, He took time away from the crowds. He spent time with the Father. He found rest. He was gentle and humble in heart. Do you ever notice that when you are stressed out or worrying about something, you’re less tolerant of the people around you? You’re more likely to say something you don’t really mean. God wants you to cast your cares on Him so that you can live with a gentle and humble attitude toward others. When you learn to release your burdens and follow the example that Jesus gave, you will be refreshed and find rest for your soul and peace in your heart. Amen!

James 1:17
"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning."

Meditation
God is the provider of every good and perfect gift. Although you may have some obstacles in your path right now, thank the Lord for the strength He gives you to overcome them. Thank God continually for all of the gifts He showers on you, both big and small. If you wrote down all your blessings, you would fill up every piece of paper that you own, and then some! Instead of focusing on the parts of your life that are not going as planned, choose to focus on the good things that God has put in your life. Remember, God can take what is broken and make it whole again. Amen!

Daily Faith 3rd April 2019

Proverbs 4:18
"The way of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, which shines ever brighter until the full light of day."
Meditation
Are you facing a situation that seems dark today? God promises that your path will shine brighter and brighter as you seek His truth and righteousness in every situation. What is righteousness? Righteousness means to be in "right standing" with God. Being inright standing with God is about submitting your life to Him. It's about obeying His commands and seeking His plan for your life on a daily basis. God wants to be involved in every detail of your life. It pleases Him when you come to Him. It pleases Him when you study your Bible and talk to Him in prayer. And just as the increasing light of the sun helps you see better in the natural, the increasing light of God's Word will guide you in every decision you have to make. No matter what you may be facing today, take time to ask the Lord to shine His light on your thoughts. Ask Him to confirm His plan for you today. Ask Him to shine the light of His Word in your heart so that you can clearly see the next step to take. As you continue to pursue His truth and righteousness, you will experience more of His blessings and live the life of abundance that He has in store for you! Amen.

2 Corinthians 8:7, NIV
"But since you excel in everything-in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and in the love we have kindled in you-see that you also excel in this grace of giving."

Meditation
The next time you feel overwhelmed by sickness, challenges or despair, remember that the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwells in you through Jesus. You may have been burdened by an addiction, fear or worry, but there’s nothing that can stand against the power of God. Rise up and declare by faith, “He whom the Son sets free is free indeed. I am restored and healed in the name of Jesus! No weapon formed against me will prosper!” Receive His truth, declare the Word, and activate His power within you! Amen.
